Ginger opened in 2003 as a wine bar, with the goal of providing a sophisticated setting for friends to enjoy a nice glass of wine or an interesting cocktail and share a few small plates.

​By popular demand, the focus quickly shifted from the wines and cocktails to the cuisine.
We feature an array of flavors from all over the world with an emphasis on the spices and seasonings of Southeast Asia. We are blessed to have access to fresh seafood from the Gulf of Papagayo, and to the tropical fruits and vegetables grown all over Costa Rica.
